The lovely and cozy chalet, Lobsters Lodge, is owned by Rik and Rachel and is named after our zodiac sign: Cancer!
We want you to enjoy it too! We do everything we can to give you a relaxing stay in our chalet. We run the chalet ourselves (no rental company), so the contact is always personal.

About the accommodation: Lobsters Lodge in Heinkenszand offers a cozy, child-friendly chalet with air conditioning. Our Lodge is modernly furnished and equipped with all the comforts you need for a comfortable stay. There are two bedrooms with made-up beds and a modern living room, so everyone has their own space. For your convenience, there is a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer compartment, kettle, and Nespresso coffee machine. Of course, there is also a bathroom with a shower. Towels, bed linen, bathrobes, and a hairdryer are available for you to relax. The second bedroom is accessible via a staircase (loft). The en-suite bathroom is located in the master bedroom downstairs. A high chair and cot are available.

Wellness Garden: The Lodge has a spacious, beautifully landscaped wellness garden with lots of privacy, where you can enjoy your own private paradise. The wonderful garden, located on the southwest, is designed to help you relax optimally, with plenty of space for children to play. The green surroundings make you feel like you are in nature for ultimate relaxation. The garden has a terrace with a pergola at the back of the house, so you can sit in both the sun and the shade. Enjoy breakfast in the morning sun at the front of the house, or a cozy dinner in the evening sun at the picnic table.


Amenities:

  • Private Wellness: Enjoy the luxury private hot tub with jets and LED lighting, private sauna, and private outdoor shower in your own garden. Both the hot tub and sauna are wood-fired. Outdoor shower only has cold water.
  • Upon booking, you will receive a bag of wood and fire starters for the first use of the sauna and/or hot tub.
  • Free WiFi
  • Air conditioning in the living room and bedroom
  • Beds made up on arrival, so you can jump right in :)
  • Towels and bathrobes included
  • For a smooth start to your holiday, we provide basic amenities for the first day such as coffee, tea, milk, sugar, dishwasher tablets, garbage bags, toilet paper, and a new dishcloth.
  • Private parking at the accommodation. There is also the possibility to charge electric cars at the main parking lot of the park (not at the accommodation!).
  • Use of the seasonal heated outdoor pool with sunbathing area (for a fee)
  • Cot and high chair available
  • Covered terrace at the front and back of the house. Back with picnic table.
  • Playground located right next to the accommodation.
  • Fire extinguisher and CO detector in the house for your safety


Activities: The park offers plenty of opportunities for relaxation and recreation. Enjoy activities such as: a walk around the Stelleplas, cycling in nature, or fishing in the lake with a fishing pass. For a day out, you are within 10 minutes in the cozy center of Goes, a picturesque modern city in the heart of Zeeland. If you go the other way, you will reach the always lively Middelburg, the capital of Zeeland. Or drive on to Vlissingen, known for its beautiful boulevard with views over the North Sea. Additionally, you can visit charming towns such as Domburg, Zierikzee, or Veere. There are plenty of beaches in the area, such as Wemeldinge, Vlissingen, Baarland, Domburg, Dishoek, De Banjaard, North Sea Beach, Westkapelle, Vrouwenpolder, Dishoek, and many more. Discover the beautiful surroundings of Zeeland by bike or enjoy windsurfing at the Veerse Meer. Other recommendations include Indoor SnowWorld Terneuzen, a seal safari, or the activity world of Terra Maris. Or visit the seafood capital of the Netherlands: Yerseke! Only a 20-minute drive away. And don’t forget the annual activities that attract many visitors, such as Concert @ Sea, Film by the Sea, the Coastal Marathon, Zeeland Late Summer Festival, Fishing Days in Breskens, and Mussel Day in Yerseke.

Amenities: At the nearby park (Hof van Zeeland), you can order bread rolls (pick-up only). Within a 5-minute drive from the campsite in the village of Heinkenszand, there are supermarkets, a bakery, a hairdresser, and a drugstore. On Thursday mornings, there is a market at Van der Biltplein in Heinkenszand.

House layout:

  • Bedrooms: 1 bedroom with a double bed on the ground floor and a playful sleeping loft with two single mattresses. Both bedrooms have a night lamp, a socket to charge your phone, and plenty of space for your belongings.
  • Bathroom: Luxurious bathroom with rain shower and also a normal showerhead. Double sink so you don’t have to wait for each other.
  • Kitchen: Fully equipped open kitchen with refrigerator, freezer compartment, gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, and plenty of kitchen utensils.
  • Living room: Cozy living room with modern decor, television, and dining area.
